what is a good idea for a WW2 movie? Low budget, backyard or field sort of film. German or American or Russian. No Pacific Theater. I have thought alot and I have come out with nothing. I live where there is alot of houses and one field in the back.

Why don't you try to try to recreate Operation Barbarossa. All you need are 4 million actors to play the German invading force and another 20 million actors to play the Russians.

You could stage a scenario where the remote farm house across the field is held by friendly forces, but the enemy is closing in across the field. Our brave heroes, like in the film "Zulu", although outnumbered by 10 to 1, hold off a substantial attacking force with low ammunition supplies, because of sheer bravery and crack shootin'. I can think of all sorts of developments in such a setting.
